Timer Intermediate Event Hung

Mon Aug 04, 2014 9:20 pm

Currently have a 500ms timer event stuck in a production instance.

What can be done to force it to complete? We have the option of restarting a goal and fast-forwarding the plan...

In general, it is quite difficult to give you some 100% solution without knowing the exact context of the problem, but you can try the following:

This is a situation which should not happen in a normal execution. What could happen is an exception occurred after the intermediate event was triggered but the execution was rolled back to the timer intermediate event. Please check in the Exception Handling of the Management console whether there is an exception on that model instance and check the reason of failing. If the cause of the exception can be solved, then solve it and resend the exception (its inputs) again - the model instance will continue in execution. Alternatively (as a 2nd step), you can also restart a goal and perform fast forwarding of the plan if it solves the problem.
