Microsoft Exchange Server Email

Tue Jul 17, 2018 10:33 pm

Our customer Ohio Valley Bank (OVB) runs a Wildfly 10 app server running on Windows Server 2012; MS SQL Server Database, and MS Exchange Server email. Custom application built in LSPS 3.2. Do we need to use the ExchangeClient library in the model? Is there any documentation beyond https://lsps-docs.whitestein.com/data/3 ... ngelibrary? We also need to configure Wildfly to use this mail server for LSPS_MAIL.

Hello Gene,

the library you mentioned is used to interact with the Exchange server from the processes through web services.
To send email, their Exchange server should expose SMTP service. Then Wildfly should be configured to use it.
Here is Wildfly example:
https://access.redhat.com/documentation ... _subsystem

You can check if SMTP server is available e.g. with telnet command:
> telnet exchangeserver 25

Regards,
Roman
